We booked in Saturday afternoon and left this morning (Bank Holiday Monday) so stayed two nights. Vernon was very welcoming, and offered our daughter a free make up tutorial, but she was a bit shy. The room was clean and tidy and well kept. TV & DVD player, some DVDs supplied. Fresh bottle of milk in the mini fridge, and tea making facilities. Bed was comfy and we had patio doors to a small private garden area. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. Quite close to the fair on the green, but even so, wasn't overly noisy. Thank you again
Excellent rooms, tea and coffee supplied, right on the promenade, two good pubs within 5 minutes walk, wetherspoons within 10 minute walk. Vernon, the owner, is a really nice man, really helpful if you're stuck for somewhere to go or do, would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time at the Singer House. The rooms were light, spacious, clean. We felt very welcomed by the host Vernon who provided everything we needed, including good conversation and suggestions to make the most of our time in the area. We came with two children and they did not want to leave the house. I would definitely recommend. Especially with children.
